Choline Bitartrate

Choline’s major function is in fatty acid transport. A deficiency of choline can reduce “good’ cholesterol, resulting in build up of “bad” cholesterol in the arteries and liver. Required to make Acetyl Choline (Ach) – the neurotransmitter needed to activate muscles. Ach has also been implicated in memory function in conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease. Choline is also needed for healthy nerves. Further, Choline lipoproteins are important for the transport of carbohydrates and may be useful during carbohydrate loading for energy storage.
