Estrogen

Estrogen (or oestrogen) is a hormone that governs numerous physiological functions. In women it is one of the primary sex hormones, while in men it is found in much smaller quantities and plays a less pivotal role. The ebb and flow of estrogen in concert with another hormone progesterone determines a woman’s menstrual cycle.
