Glutathione

Glutathione (an abbreviated description for Glutathione Peroxidase), is one of the body's primary anti-oxidants. It protects the body from molecular damage caused by free radicals, resulting from exposure to environmental pollutants (smoke, carcinogenic chemicals etc) and the oxidations of fats. Glutathione can only be synthesised within the body and requires adequate supplies of the nutrients L-Glutamine, L-Cysteine (from L-Cystine) and Selenium
