Organic
Most of us have heard the term “organic” but may not understand completely what the term means.
The basics of organic food is that it is developed or grown naturally without any man-made substances used to promote that process. This means avoiding synthetic chemicals so growth is not contrived, forced or manipulated. Conditions for the growing of organic must be composed of a 100% natural environment.
For any food item or product to be classified organic it needs to be free from all genetically modified internal cell structures, such as those seen growing in the wild.
A major part of organics is soil management. Land for cultivation of these foods must be absolutely free from traces of all chemicals and pesticides. When organically grown food is harvested, the soil is left to rest before re-planting.
