Bircher Apple Slice


Preheat oven to 175°C. Place muesli, sugar and butter into a bowl. Mix well. Press muesli mixture into a baking paper lined 20 x 30cm baking tin, reserving 1 cup for the topping. Spread apples evenly over the muesli base. Sprinkle with the reserved muesli mixture. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden. Slice and serve either warm or cold with natural yoghurt, ice-cream or cream.

Makes 12 slices.
