Belinda Harrison on a winning streak
The long miles of training are starting to come together for Aussie Bodies sponsored athlete Belinda Harrison, as she prepares for the Elite Race at Busselton Ironman this coming weekend.
In Mordialloc a few weeks ago, Belinda placed first in the 25-29 female category racing over the Sprint Distance 500m swim/20km Bike/5km run.
After putting in a massive block of training, including serious gym work, Belinda is happy with the win while also looking ahead to remain focussed for the Ironman.
She reports, "I would usually race elite/open, however the aim of the day was to sharpen up race performance and get more bike kilometres in, which I did!"
More recently, Belinda hit the Gatorade triathlon in St Kilda. Once again she proved that her Ironman training is on track with a win in the 25-29 Female section with a great bike performance.
As part of the dedicated Geelong High Performance Team, Belinda is expecting another successful day, her 7th Ironman event; fuelled of course, with Aussie Bodies sports nutrition.
She says "Everything is on track for Busselton". With these wins under her belt, combined with supreme effort behind the scenes, we'd have to agree with her.
Watch this space for Belinda's results at the Ironman on December 2nd.
