Melbourne Tigers 2006-07

2005/06 NBL Champions, Melbourne Tigers, are proudly sponsored by Aussie Bodies.

The Melbourne Tigers Basketball Club has been in existence for nearly 70 years. During this time the Tigers have been an integral part of the NBL competition and pivotal in the development of Australian Basketball.

Club values: loyalty, community, sportsmanship and excellence, are epitomised by leading identities and key personnel. These same values and elite on court performances equipped the Tigers to take out an exhilarating 2005/06 final series. The championship series was taken to a third game and the Melbourne Tigers revelled in the challenge.

In the 2005/06 season, Head coach Al Westover with co-captains Darryl McDonald and Chris Anstey, lead the way to record the clubs third NBL championship.
