Bodybuilder's calendar of upcoming events

Aussie Bodies is proudly supporting two upcoming events that feature highly in the body building world calendar – the International Federation of Body Builders (IFBB) Victorian championships, and the International Natural Bodybuilding Association of Australia's (INBA) South Australian titles.

The IFBB Victorian Championships are being held on Saturday October 13th at the National Theatre in St Kilda and will feature Mr Olympia Jay Cutler. This is Jay's first guest pose after attempting to win his second straight Olympia title. The contest features the best bodybuilders and fitness athletes in the state, competing for one of 12 body-building and fitness titles, before winners meet up again for the national title.

Aussie Bodies sponsored body builder Rohan Reid is deep in preparation now for the highly competitive under 90kg category at the Victorian event, with hopes to qualify for the Australian titles. His training diary is well and truly loaded at the moment, but regrettably for Rohan, his stomach isn't! He says his hunger is driving him crazy. However, as always, Rohan's focussed on his goal and we look forward to cheering him on at the competition.

The South Australian INBA titles will be the second last event around the country, before the finals in ACT where the top 3 finalists of every state in each category compete for the 2007 Australian Natural Physique titles.

The next step for the very keen is the INBA Natural Olympia – recognised as the pinnacle and most prestigious of natural (drug-free) bodybuilding events. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Natural Olympia. After being held here in Australia last year, it returns to where it all first began in 1998, in Greece, home of the original natural athlete.
