IgF-1, or insulin-like growth factor, in synthetic form, is an anabolic steroid that promotes muscle growth and enhances the anabolic action of growth hormone (GH). Nature has its own IgF-1 found at highest concentration in the pre-milk substance Colostrum, produced when we are born.
