Choosing organically grown produce can significantly reduce the level of dietary exposure to pesticides, one factor that can contribute to a variety of health problems.1 Infants and children are at even more risk of pesticide residues than adults, given the developing nature of their bodies and their larger intake of food relative to their bodyweight. As organically grown foods contain lower levels of toxic residues they contribute less of a chemical burden on our bodies.
