Maria wows Women at Hawthorn

FRIDAY, AUGUST 18, 2006

Maria Deveson-Crabbe was invited to the annual Women at Hawthorn lunch as a key guest speaker. Held at Crown casino in Melbourne, the lunch was attended by Women at Hawthorn members who enjoy networking, socialising and sharing the passion of the Hawks with other like minded women.

Robert 'Dipper' DiPierdomenico was the dynamic MC who  interviewed the executives and ensured the ladies were entertained.

Lunch guests were treated to inspirational stories from professional women at the top of their game. A combination of individual interviews and a panel of guests constituted the line up for the day.

Maria was the first guest speaker to be interviewed and was asked about her journey to CEO of Health Brands Australia. She was also asked about the changes seen in women's body image, fad dieting and how Aussie Bodies has adjusted to the changing market trends.

"Aussie Bodies empowers women to maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle without missing out on the fifth food group - fun." says Maria.

"Fad diets are not sustainable and though market trends change, Aussie Bodies has not altered the importance of protein in the diet. Women understand the increased satiety which protein produces and we have introduced new innovative protein snacks perfect for busy women".

Other guest speakers included Janine Allis, founder and CEO of Boost juice, Helen Kapalos co-anchor of Channel 10 news, Tamsyn Lewis and Samantha Richards.
