The charismatic, busy working Mum, has tackled her own battles with obesity, losing over 50 kilos, inspiring her to help other Australians on their road to wellness. But how does she maintain her weight, energy levels and exercise regimen, when having to meet the demands of filming and being home with her son? Ajay says, "As a single mum, training at the best of times is tough. Add the 12 hour days of filming on The Biggest Loser (let alone school lunches, homework, dinner and cuddles) and it is a real test. I usually wake at 4 am to train. I have a great Workout World home gym and treadmill so I often get on that, but not as much as I should. I don't go crazy because at the end of the day, my son is priority and reading him books at bed time will mostly win over my desire to get out there on my bike". Her two favourite Aussie Bodies products suit Ajay's hectic lifestyle. "I love Lo carb Protein Revival drink- dutch choc flavour. I have one of these straight after my weekly weights session. They're quick, easy to digest and low in carbohydrates. I also have them on hand for easy carry-around snacks, especially when I'm running out the door. I often drink one quickly for breakfast or put them in the freezer and enjoy as a healthy ice block". For something savoury, Ajay grazes on high protein Aussie Bodies PCs. "Protein Crisps are a fantastic snack. I keep them in my handbag and it feels like I'm eating something naughty like chips, but they're healthy"! She adds "Filming is a crazy time, so I love to have Aussie Bodies on hand when shooting goes over schedule. I've found that decreasing my carbs (not entirely, just generally) and increasing my protein has definitely helped me lose the extra weight I was struggling to get off, and keep it off". As a top identity in print and television, Ajay reached into the worldwide web in 2005 with her online weight-loss support network, Healthy Body Club. Still, she remains her endearing, approachable self; always honest, and thus, hugely inspiring to others, relating to her struggles with diet, and maintaining good health amidst the demands of an active life. With Ajay, nothing is hidden. "My biggest weakness is still chocolate. That's why I love Protein Revival so much…I put it in the coldest part of the fridge then gulp it down. Yum!" Ajay admits to another guilty pleasure… one that may help motivate her fans in getting up off the couch and exercising while watching their favourite reality weight-loss TV show. "I've begun triathlon training. Whenever I get a spare hour I practice my circuit – swim, bike, run. It's such a new thing for me and I'm only doing small distances but I love it because it is such a far cry from the 130 kilo girl I was who had all but given up on herself".
