I have tried your kick start plan to lose weight and find I am ravenous, what do I do?


Any plan that kickstarts your metabolism is going to be challenging initially. One of the main problems is that you believe that you are depriving yourself, even though in reality your body is receiving adequate nutrition. The kick start plan is only recommended for a maximum of four weeks, after which I recommend moving on to steady loss or maintenance phase, which you will find far more satisfying.
 
If you do want rapid results you will need to commit to your plan with perseverance and will power. To help alleviate hunger, try spacing no more than four hours between each meal. An example would be breakfast at 8am, lunch at 12pm, an afternoon snack at 4pm and dinner at 7pm. If you still feel hungry increase the size of your shake (don't forget to add more protein powder). At dinner, savour the meal completely and take the time to really enjoy it and the event of dining itself.
