The Zone, along with many other diets, recommends eating fewer meals and emphasises quality over quantity. But the PCF Calculator seems to tell me to eat more. How do you rationalise these different approaches?


First, the PCF Calculator recognises protein quality. In fact the Aussie Bodies PCF scoring of foods is the only method that actually allows for the biological quality of proteins, by way of a formula that takes into account the PDCAAS (Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score) for each food.
