The PCF Calculator says I should limit my carbs to just 55g a day, but I'm finding this difficult. Do you have any useful tips?


It depends on why you are finding it difficult. If it is because of cravings, then refer back to the earlier question on cravings and addiction. If however the difficulty is finding suitable low carb foods, then here are a few tips:
 
1. replace sugar with SplendaŽ (spoon for spoon)
2. try replacing half the flour in any baked food with Life Pure Soy Protein or Aussie Bodies Perfect Soy Protien
3. Use lots of leafy green and other non-starchy vegies as a foundation for your meals (instead of things like rice or pasta)
4. Drink Life Protein Shake regularly as this will help reduce your appetite.
 

If the difficulty is that you find you have used your entire carbohydrate allowance by lunchtime, organise your eating plan one day in advance so you know exactly what carbohydrate you are going to eat and when.
